The
Board of Adjustment meets the first and second
Thursday of each month as needed. The meeting
begins at 6:30 p.m. and is held in the Otter
Tail County Commissioners' Room located in
the Government Services Center at 500 Fir
Ave W., Fergus Falls, MN 56537.
The
purpose of this board is to hear all applications
for variance from the requirements of the
shoreland management ordinance and the subdivision
controls ordinance. Applications for consideration
by this Board are submit to the Land and
Resource Department and processed through
the County Auditor's office. The secretary
and contact person for the Board of Adjustment
is the County Auditor.
The
membership consists of one person from each
of the commissioner districts, plus a representative
from the Planning Commissions. The members
of the Board of Adjustment are appointment
annually with the current members as noted
below under general information.
